  1. I think that many poeple volunteer because they feel good, peacefull and like to make social conections everywhewre they go, maybe is a way to return something to the world(society).

No it isn't, sometimes it could be difficult, ofcourse you are giving your time and knowledge for free, but helping others always is good.

Because no everybody is interested about it, i'll be able to volunteer in a protected area here in C.R, or helping a neighbor and my family ofcourse. but i can't imagine myself going to other country to volunteer.

For me, you can volunteer near to your house since you are a kid and ofcourse with your parents, but if you want to go to other places, like other state, country or like that, you must be on your twenties.

No they aren't, they are a humans with an huge heart!

The volunteer would give you many experiences, social and soft skills, so you will be able to make your self a better person connected to siciety.

I don't think so, but it is a good EXTRA.

I think, that if you volunteer you will feel good, and happy for a moment, but for me it can be exhausting to volunteer constantly. however, it depends of the personality!

  4. 1. People do volunteering to contribute to society in some areas that have problems or need help, for example childhood, animals in danger, to built houses... Is a way to be useful and share with other people time for sharing and to do positive and constructive things.

    2. Maybe people can be a little bit ignorant and discredit the noble labor of volunteering. But in general is a very generous work with many advantages.

    3. I think that is a cultural and social factor, because in some countries is more common to do volunteering or is a requirement for graduation.

    4. Any age is perfect to start volunteering, but for me is something special since early age, because children can have more ideas, develop more awareness of giving and helping others.

    5. Yeah, in many massive events (accidents, attacks, fires) there are people interested in saving lives, rescue people and be leaders in the middle of the chaos.

  5. 1. Why do people volunteer?
Personally, I think that people volunteer because it’s a nice way to help people and they feel good helping people, besides, it can makes you happier and helps you to live longer.

    2. Is there anything bad about volunteering?
Sometimes when you volunteer you have to be far of your family and friends, and it can makes the experience a little difficult, but, I think is the only thing that can be bad about volunteer.

    3. Why are some people more willing to volunteer than others?
Because all of us have different tastes, and some people can think that volunteer is the most interesting experience that you can have, however, others can think that is a bad idea and a waste of time, so it is relative and depends on the opinion of the person.

    4. From what age should people start volunteering?
I think that people could volunteer when they have a sense of responsibility, because even a child can be a volunteer, if his parents have no problem and it's near of his house, of course if the child really wants to help and he's going to be committed with the task.

    5. Are volunteers heroes?
I think that a volunteer can be a hero in some cases, because people that goes to far places where is no food, medicines or basic services, to help people with medical services, to teach or even just to talk with them, are real heroes.

    6. How is volunteering good for your future?
Volunteer can give you a lot of experience, it can change your mind, it makes you socialize and it really changes your life in a good way. The girl in the recording says it can make you feel happier and can make you healthier, and it are good things for your future.

    7. Should volunteering be part of the curriculum in all schools?
I believe that volunteering could be a good idea for a curriculum, however, being in a volunteer program should be a own decision, you can't force a person to be in a volunteer program

    8. Do you think volunteering gives us "a deep sense of happiness"?
like I mentioned before, it depends of the person, because not all the people think that volunteer can be a great idea, maybe can exist people that don't feel happy helping others

  6. 1. People volunteer because they are looking for new experiencies and new ways to help to others. They want to feel better and happier.

    2. Absolutely not! In fact, according to the audio it is good for you. Volunteering helps to improve your health, it makes you feel better and it allows you life longer.

    3. People should start volunteering when they feel ready, and when laws allow them.

4.Volunteers are forgotten heroes! And the most interesting is they have superpowers: patience, solidarity and love.

5.Again, it gives you experiencies for your life. I guess you learn a lot when you are volunteering and it prepares you for future challenges.

6.Absolutely, and TEC would be the first in that list. I think when you are in university you are so busy that you do not see the real life. These programs allows you to have an expanded vision of life.

    7. Volunteering redefines many aspects of your life. It allows you to discover how lucky you are.

  7. Why do people volunteer?
In my opinion, people do volunteering because they can help people in need,at the same time they visit new places. Also, as the recording says that action makes people happy and also contributes to their health.
Is there anything bad about volunteering?
For me volunteering has only positive aspects but on the other hand, being at the volunteer person position I think that may be that person would have bad experiences, specially with the place they have to stay when they're do volunteer, also with the food they have to eat when they are there.
Why are some people more willing to volunteer than others?
I think that some people just think in the action of help, they just focus in the way to contribute to the society so they're people who are more willing to volunteer than others that think
in the place they have to stay and the uncomfortable aspects that volunteering envolve.

From what age should people start volunteering?
I think that a volunteer doesn't have an specific age for work, when someone has the desire to help he/she have to do it.
    Are volunteers heroes?
For me, volunteers definetly are heroes because sometimes they risk their life for help others, and also they do for love, without a salary.
How is volunteering good for your future?
When you do volunteer and experience the real life, I think you start to be glad with the things that you have. Do volunteering increase some values that sometimes we forget.
Should volunteering be part of the curriculum in all schools?
Of course, I think that schools have to promote not only the academic part but also the real life, the important value of think in other, solve problems for help people in need and with that appreciate all that they have.
Do you think volunteering gives us "a deep sense of happiness"?
